WELL-known industry figure Malcolm Noyle has become a board member of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP).

Noyle is Government and green fleet development manager at the largest leasing firm in the UK, Lloyds TSB autolease. Launched in January, the LowCVP is an advisory and action group created to promote the shift to clean, low carbon-emitting vehicles and fuels in the UK.

Noyle said: 'With London congestion charging and fuel price rises due to the Iraq war in the news, there has never been a better time to communicate the environmental and financial benefits of clean fuels. We are determined to increase the level of fleet uptake and believe the partnerships such as these are a key means to achieving greater understanding.'
