MG Rover has laid down a 'name your price' initiative for small fleets, claiming it will beat any offer from its competitors.

The 'Bring us any genuine offer and we'll beat it' promotion lasts until June 30 on all MG and Rover cars, and is available to fleets of up to 25 cars. The firm promises to better offers on elements of car-buying from other manufacturers, such as LPG Band Four conversions, optional extras, two or three years' servicing and insurance.

John Sanders, MG Rover Group sales and marketing director, said: 'Our approach is tailored to meet individual needs and thus give customers exactly what they want.'
