RENTAL companies are experiencing fewer problems with the London congestion charge than previously anticipated.

Findings from the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) have also indicated that the scheme could be replicated in cities such as Edinburgh, Bristol and Birmingham by 2006. John Lewis, director-general at the BVRLA, said: 'We are finding that the majority of rental members had their systems set up in good time for the introduction of the charge.'
