THE successful Mini Lease service launched by Arval PHH UK is being expanded Europe-wide, backed by a massive £100 million vehicle supply deal with Renault.

The exclusive contract will see Renault provide up to 15,000 cars a year over the next three years. The Mini Lease programme is focused on businesses that need cars and vans for short periods of time.

Vehicles can be leased from 28 days to one year, providing a bridge between daily rental and long-term leases. There is also no early termination charge after the first month of the contract.

Vincent St Claire, managing director of Arval PHH's fleet division, said: 'Mini Lease is already one of our most successful products. This agreement with Renault will help us to broaden its scope and introduce the benefits of flexible short-term leasing to Arval PHH customers in Europe.'

Kim Baxter, manager of major rental, Europe at Renault, said: 'Part of Renault's strategic development plan is to grow our long-term relationships with major business customers. Mini Lease is the type of innovative programme that is essential to the rapidly-evolving fleet market and Renault will be key to the programme's future success.'
