Toyota jobs

TOYOTA is to create 1,000 new jobs as the manufacturer strives to increase its European production.

The new positions will be created at the group's Burnaston plant in Derbyshire and will see production of the new Avensis and Corolla increase from 220,000 vehicles per year to 270,000. In order to create the new positions, Toyota is introducing a new working shift pattern at the plant.
