LEASING company Zenith Vehicle Contracts is celebrating a milestone after pushing through the 10,000-vehicle barrier for the first time in its history.

Managing director Andrew Cope said it marked a significant step in Zenith's organic growth since it was formed in 1989 and represented a 20% rise over the past 12 months. He added: 'Our size gives us the resources to develop new products.'

The company recently won a number of new accounts that have added an extra 1,020 cars to its fleet. These include the contract hire business of payroll group Morepay and two parcel delivery specialists, Geopost and Target Express.
