BCA has joined in with Vauxhall's Centenary Celebrations with a special themed sale staged at BCA Measham.

Staff at the auction giant wore outfits from the start of the last century, there was a 1950 Wyvern L-Type on display and a huge birthday cake and champagne to help Vauxhall-approved buyers celebrate in style.

The sale catalogue was printed on yellow paper to give it an 'olde worlde' look and featured a 1966 PA Cresta on the cover, with a centre spread featuring the 1903 5hp model opposite a new Vectra.

A brief history of Vauxhall was also featured, along with the dates for all the upcoming Vauxhall celebrations. The event attracted nearly 60 buyers registered to bid on a selection of modern day examples from the Vauxhall range. In total, 208 cars were entered and 182 were sold for a turnover exceeding £1.5 million.
