DAILY rental firm easyCar has been forced to apologise to a customer after his photograph was wrongly included on its controversial 'name and shame' website that highlights drivers who have failed to return hire cars.

The photograph had also been used in the London Evening Standard for a feature about the easyCar website.

But the photograph was of an easyCar customer who had always returned his cars on time. An employee at the company, who has since left its employment for the error, wrongly used the photograph.

EasyCar last week took out an advertisement in the London Evening Standard apologising.
