epyx buys Translease

SOFTWARE solutions expert epyx has acquired Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's TransLease business for an undisclosed sum.

TransLease offers electronic automatic authorisation and invoice delivery systems to the automotive market and will be added to epyx portfolio of products, including 1Link, its own electronic authorisation system.

TransLease was part of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, one of the world's largest providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services.

Greg Connell, managing director of epyx, said: 'epyx and TransLease have proven to add real valuewith leading edge solutions, and we feel very comfortable with this latest development. We see tremendous growth in electronic invoice processing, with our combined platforms set to process transactions in excess of £200m this year.'
