GENERAL Motors has appointed Kroymans Corporation to develop and manage a European dealership network to sell and service Cadillac and Corvette vehicles.

Based in Hilversum in the Netherlands, the Kroymans Corporation is a European distributor for a number of brands including Aston-Martin, Ferrari, Jaguar and Saab.

The new multi-year agreement gives it the rights to distribute Cadillac and Corvette vehicles from October.

It plans to develop 25 Cadillac Experience Centres which will serve as showcase dealerships with a full line-up of Cadillac and Corvette vehicles, sales and service. It will co-ordinate the activities of dealerships in smaller surrounding markets.

The distributor is planning to invest in the Cadillac Experience Centres in the Benelux countries and Germany and possibly in Switzerland and Austria.

Cadillac is launching four all-new vehicles that will compete in Europe, including the Cadillac CTS sedan (currently available in Europe), the SRX crossover, the XLR roadster, and a future-generation flagship sedan. The next-generation Escalade will also be sold in Europe.
