• TERRY Dockery has joined Fleet Auction Group as national sales manager, with responsibility for large corporate fleets. Dockery has 20 years' experience within the motor industry, most recently with Bynx Europe where he was responsible for the development and marketing of the X-Fleet remarketing system.

  • NISSAN has announced new appointments in its LCV fleet team and car and van contract hire accounts. Mark Hamilton joins as LCV fleet manager for the south. Kay Fenwick takes on the same role for the north of England and Scotland areas. Two new managers in the contact hire sector are Francis Bleasdale and Gareth Thomas covering the north of England and the Midlands respectively.

  • CLOSE Motor Finance has appointed Huw Thomas as northern regional operations manager. He will oversee sales and customer relations for the finance provider's six branches in the north. Thomas brings more than 20 years' finance experience, the past 13 in the motor industry most recently with Wagon Finance.

  • RAC Business Solutions has announced two new marketing appointments. Dean Baker becomes marketing manager and Jackie Smith joins as brand licensing manager. Baker's most recent role was at Continental Tyre Group and he now focuses on major repositioning and product development objectives. Smith joins the company from Hyundai where she managed the administration of the technical training department.

  • JEFFERY Mack has been appointed to the Retail Motor Industry Federation's (RMI) bodyshop and recovery division. The RMI has made the decision to single out this particular area which was previously part of the general membership services. Mack brings wide industry experience having been recently involved in the creation and implementation of qualify standard schemes for vehicle manufacturers.

  • GEOFF Reyner has joined Irisbus as its new general sales manager. He has spent his entire career in the truck industry working for manufacturers such as ERF, Foden and, most recently, Optare where he was group sales and marketing director. He reports to managing director, Harry Chambers.

  • TOAD, provider of aftermarket technology-based products, has appointed Paul Hughes as director of sales, technical services. He takes responsibility for Toad's telematics and security products to the commercial fleet market.
