AN electrical contracting firm has taken delivery of seven Nissan Primastars worth almost £84,000 at showroom prices.

Mansfield-based RW Derbyshire Electrical Contractors says it opted for the 100bhp 1.9 dCi version of the van because of its 'cost-effectiveness and driver comfort'. The firm also hopes the addition of rear parking sensors will have a beneficial impact on fleet costs.

Boss Dave Derbyshire said: 'The rear parking sensors, which are in the van's rear bumper, have made parking and reversing easier for our drivers.'
