Lombard sees 90% conversion at raceway sale

LEASING firm Lombard achieved a 90% conversion at a fleet sale held at Rockingham racetrack and hosted by Manheim Auctions, which saw 450 vehicles go under the hammer.

Several premium marques were sold, including a 1999 Mercedes S320 with 39,282 miles for £23,700 and a 2003 Lotus Elise with 4,695 miles for £22,000.

On average 100 vehicles were sold every hour with sales reaching 101% of CAP values. Additional sales included a 2002 Vauxhall Zafira with 11,541 miles for £15,100 and a 2000 BMW 318i with 36,851 miles for £13,600.
