RENAULT has been awarded a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for its work in producing the safest range of cars on the road today.

The firm now has five cars with a maximum five stars in the European New Car Assessment Programme crash tests. Presenting the award, Steve Norris, chairman of RoadSafe, said: 'Renault thinks about safety all the time, not just by designing safe cars but thinking about pedestrians. That is exactly the commitment the Prince awards aim to honour.'
