CANNON Hygiene driver Alan Pearce has won the company's commercial driver of the year award.

He beat 380 rivals to win the title during the competition held at Cannon Hygiene's new centre of excellence in Morecambe. The competition was held to promote road safety and higher standards of driving, with all the tests being carried out in Vauxhall Movano vans.
