VEHICLE Remarketing Solutions (VRS) has invested £250,000 in a full vehicle reconditioning service.

It can now offer fleets a range of hot and cold metal repair facilities which will process more than 2,000 vehicles this year.

By offering de-fleet, inspection, reconditioning and remarketing from the same site, VRS claims its service enables it to get vehicles from vehicle manufacturers and large fleets to UK dealers more efficiently than conventional remarketing channels.

Managing director Mike Pilkington said: 'By offering a wide range of services from one site, we offer our customers a more efficient service that gets the vehicles to the trade quicker.

'We believe our rapid growth in our first year of trading has been driven by dealers demanding vehicles that require the minimum of preparation.'

The company says it uses sophisticated direct marketing techniques to remarket the vehicles discreetly to a national network of dealers.

It adds that strong market prices can be achieved by discreet remarketing that effectively masks the volumes available and targets areas of the highest demand.
