SUBARU has gained a reduction in insurance rates for its latest Legacy range, reducing running costs for cash-for-car drivers.

Following security upgrades for the latest car, the Association of British Insurers has awarded the new Legacy 2.0i saloon and Sports Tourer a group 11E rating, compared with 14D for the old model.

Similar reductions are made throughout the range with the most expensive model, the Outback H6, carrying a 15E rating compared with the old model's 16D, despite having 36bhp more.
