GL and GLS grades have been dropped in favour of T2 and T Spirit trim and six airbags are now included as standard across the range.
T3 cars have automatic air conditioning, steering wheel audio controls, integrated radio aerial and an Optitron backlit instrument display, on top of the previous GL's electric windows, CD player and remote central locking.
The 2.0-litre petrol versions have improved fuel consumption at 33.2mpg on the combined cycle for the manual and 31.7mpg for the automatic. Prices start at £18,513 on-the-road for the 2.0 T3, while the 2.0 D-4D T Spirit is £22,013 OTR.
