The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • RAC Software has appointed a new fleet sales manager following an increased demand for its fleet programs. Kevin Stenner has taken on the role and will work as part of a team focusing on incident and fleet management software for both corporate and public sectors. Stenner previously worked as account director at Northgate Information Solutions, where he was responsible for strategic sales and new business wins.

  • DAILY rental group Hertz has appointed Am Kainth as partnership manager in its marketing department. Kainth will report to Martin Buckland, head of partnerships and pricing, and will be responsible for developing new marketing alliances in the corporate and leisure travel markets.
    Kainth joins Hertz from National Car Rental, where he was responsible for developing UK affinity marketing programmes and online services project management. Prior to National, Kainth worked as marketing manager at Fiat Auto Contracts.

  • IN-CAR technology specialist Toad Group has appointed Craig Moore as its new fleet sales manager. Moore will be responsible for promoting the group's fleet management products to a wider audience of clients including corporate clients and fleet management organisations. He will work across the group's Actra Fleet Management System which covers in-car navigation systems and hands-free mobile phone installations. Moore has several years' fleet experience including 10 years with PHH Vehicle Management.

  • FLEET software provider Bynx has appointed John Waring as European sales and marketing director. He will be responsible for generating new business leads across Europe and has been part of Bynx for the past four years. Waring has more than 20 years' experience, including working with international car manufacturers such as Toyota, Renault and Fiat. He also spent 15 years at two automotive specialists including a period as international director. His roles included developing systems strategies designed to improve business growth and customer service.

  • AUTOGLASS has a new sales director after Peter Lumsdaine agreed to take on the role. Lumsdaine will replace Meri Williamson, who has become the firm's operations director.
    Lumsdaine previously worked as sales director with Belron, Autoglass' parent company, where he spent two years responsible for the automotive and building glass divisions. Prior to Belron, Lumsdaine spent five years in the insurance industry. He has also worked as sales director at Gateway Computers and as a chief executive officer at an information technology company.

  • MARTIN Wells is the new head of EurotaxGlass's Market Intelligence Unit.
    Wells was appointed following an increase in demand for pan-European market intelligence and will run the current 10-strong team.
