    Subaru Legacy Spec B

SUBARU has given the top-of-the-range Legacy a sport makeover, throwing out the five-speed automatic transmission and replacing it with a six-speed manual and sourcing some suspension components from the Impreza WRX STi. Available as a saloon and Sport Tourer estate, the Spec B allows driving enthusiasts the opportunity to exploit the Legacy’s 245bhp 3.0-litre six-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine and fine chassis to the full.

    Honda FR-V

A FEW years ago, Fiat had a an idea to put six seats in a compact MPV in two rows setting the centre seat in the front row a little further back. Honda has developed this idea, with the same principle for rear seat passengers with the new FR-V. The car will be launched with a choice of two petrol engines but next year Honda’s excellent 2.2 i-CTDi engine will be offered, giving the FR-V 140bhp, 251lb-ft and more than 45mpg.
