  • PROVECTA Car Plan has promoted Stephen Giggins to client services manager. Giggins has been with Provecta for five years as an account manager providing operational support to large, high-profile corporate customers. In his new role, he will manage a growing team of account managers as Provecta increases its employee car ownership fleet.

  • DHL has appointed Nicola Phillips as environmental manager for its UK and Ireland Express and Freight operations. She joins the group from an environmental management role at the BBC, where she was responsible for delivering large-scale environmental risk management projects. In the newly-created position, Phillips will be responsible for leading the company towards its goal of ISO14001 accreditation by 2007. She will manage the implementation of all DHL’s environmental programmes, including staff training on environ-mental issues and a programme of cus-tomer partnerships.

  • CFC Solutions has appointed a new management team following the departure of managing director Jason Francis. Andy Leech is business development director, Adrian Morris is operations director and Martin Evans is customer relationship director. Wendy Dainter has also taken on the new role of training officer. Dainter joined the company last year as leasing support technician working on cfc’s leasing products. In her new role she will oversee manage-ment, content and implementation of cfc’s training programmes.

  • LEEDS-based Premier Motor-auctions has promoted Matt Dale to sales director. Dale has worked with the group for seven years and has been general manager since 1999. He will take over from Paul Dyson after Dyson announced plans to emigrate to New Zealand.

  • FRANCHISE network Fix Auto has appointed John Matthews to develop the venture in the UK. Matthews has held several high-profile roles at Audatex and Norton Consulting and will be responsible for building business in the UK. Fix Auto is a North American company which operates a franchise network incorporating independent repairers.

  • HELPHIRE Group has appointed Stephanie Goeting as managing director for operations. Goeting began her career as a loss adjuster before holding several management positions with Commercial Union and Eagle Star. Following the merger of Eagle Star and Zurich Financial Services she was involved in the integration of the claims operations. She has also worked at the Automobile Association (AA) in several senior management positions including claims manager for AA Insurance Services. Goeting succeeds Angela Firth, who has retired.
