Prices revealed for Octavia estate

SKODA is asking a £700 premium for the estate version of the new Octavia which will arrive in the UK early next year.

The range starts with a 102bhp 1.6-litre, with two more powerful petrol engines and two diesels also on offer.

It offers 580 litres of carrying capacity with the rear seats in place, expanding to 1,620 litres to roof height with the rear seats folded.

Prices start at £12,180 OTR for the 102bhp 1.6 MPI Classic, increasing to £17,100 for the 2.0 TDI Elegance, while a DSG double-clutch sequential transmission is offered on diesel models for £1,020.
