  • MARK Brooker has joined Europcar as sales and marketing director. He brings more than 19 years experience in contract hire and leasing gained in positions at Lex Vehicle Leasing, Dial Contracts and Lombard. He joins Europcar from Chubb Electronic Safety, where he was general manager. Brooker will take over from David Alexander, who has been appointed director of operations at Europcar.

  • AUTOMOTIVE Skills has appointed three new members to its advisory council. Tony Jolliffe, general manager, technical services at Manerf, Steve Butler, director at ATC Consulting and Trevor Ferris, a training and development consultant, have all joined the board. Butler and Ferris will represent bodyshop interests and Jolliffe will represent commercial vehicles for Automotive Skills, which represents the retail motor industry.

  • PROVECTA Car Plan has appointed two new business development managers. Simon Curtis joins from Godfrey Davis, where he was corporate sales manager. Jonathon Oliver has also joined the group. He brings more than 10 years’ industry experience gained within the fleet industry, including corporate sales roles at BMW and Honda.

  • STEVE Paterson is the new director of Iveco’s light commercial vehicle business unit. He will be responsible for sales and marketing of the Daily range. And Stuart Beeton is the new director of key accounts for Iveco UK, responsible for key fleet sales across the full range of light, medium and heavy products.

  • SHARON Loomes has joined RAC Auto Windscreens as customer service manager responsible for the customer service team. In her new role, Loomes will also be responsible for designing and implementing a new customer service process and system to serve the group’s customer base. Prior to joining RAC Auto Windscreens, Loomes was the operational quality and support manager at an online financial service provider.
