AS PART of our commitment to an open and clear judging process for the Fleet News Awards, this week we are revealing the panel that will be choosing the 2005 winners.

Panel members have been chosen for their expertise in fleet management, knowledge of industry issues and understanding of how to compare suppliers. Full details about which categories each member of the panel is judging, along with their backgrounds, will be published in a later edition of Fleet News.

Publication of details of the panel before the judging takes place is part of a commitment to making the 2005 awards the best in the history of the ceremony.

There is still time for fleet decision-makers and service companies to enter the awards, which will be held on March 16 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in Park Lane, London.

Fleet managers can simply log on to www.fleetnewsnet.co.uk and click on the awards logo before entering a few brief details. Short-listed fleet managers will be invited for interview in February.

Service companies should have received a form by email in the past two weeks for their chosen categories. Requests for additional forms or information on entering the Best Website category can be sent to our awards email address at fleetnewsawards@emap.com.
