A FIRM that supplies nursing cover and urgent IT support to doctors’ surgeries throughout the UK has ordered a fleet of Toyota Avensis cars because they come with satellite navigation as standard.

Magister Consulting, based in Dartford, Kent has a fleet of 80 cars which is expected to double in the next year, and has recently put in an order for 30 Avensis 2.0 D-4D T3-S hatchbacks for its operational staff as a replacement for Volkswagen Golfs.

Satellite navigation as standard on the Toyota Avensis was a prime attraction for the fast-expanding medical consultancy service, which has recently taken on 15 of the cars and has 15 more on order. The vehicles are leased from Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions.

Magister Consulting’s fleet manager and head of resources, Bruce Rainbow, said: ‘The field staff are going to different places every day, so this has made their days a lot less stressful.’
