HYUNDAI is now offering a diesel version of the Getz supermini, using the 1.5-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel used in the Matrix and Accent.

The Getz CRTD GSi is available only as a five-door, priced at £8,695 and including twin front airbags, ABS, electric front windows and a CD player as standard. The diesel model offers 58.9mpg on the combined cycle and carbon dioxide emissions of 127g/km. It accelerates from 0-62mph in 16.5 seconds and has a top speed of 106mph.
