The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • ATS Euromaster has appointed Nick Gregg as its first UK group managing director. The new role will bring together the company's truck, fleet and retail business in a single unit. Gregg will report directly to Vincent Rousset-Rouviere, European managing director.

  • COOPER-Avon Tyres has improved its UK fleet sales team with three new appointments. Simon Michael, Andrew Round and Nick Gibb have all taken on national account manager roles across the South, Midlands and North respectively. All three report directly to national accounts director Ian Daniels. The group has also appointed Lisa Felton and Roger Covello as retail marketing managers responsible for the UK.

  • LEASEDRIVE Group has appointed Sarah Simmonds as UK business develop-ment manager. Simmonds follows in the footsteps of Karen Bowen, who joined as business development manager last September. Simmonds has spent the past six years at Arval PHH Vehicle Solutions as client relationship manager. Prior to this, she held several positions over a nine-year period at Interleasing. She has also held a number of sales and business development managerial roles within the motor industry.

  • PEUGEOT dealer Simon Bailes has made two new appointments to its sales team. Derek Allen has joined as general manager and Mike England is the new aftersales manager at the group's Stockton site. Allen has more than 15 years' industry experience and will be responsible for operations at the Stockton site. England will manage all aspects of the aftersales service, including the parts, bodyshop and service department.

  • CAR rental group Avis has appointed Penny Stoolman as director of sales and marketing. Stoolman has spent the last three years at Arval PHH in a board-level position as group strategy and marketing director. She has also worked as sales and marketing director at Kwik-Fit and prior to that was director of fleet and accident services at the RAC. Stoolman will be part of the Avis UK board and will report directly to managing director Michael White.

  • JAMES Dickens has joined the operations team of south coast freight forwarder Mercator Cargo Systems. Dickens has held several customer support roles during his career including positions at Southern Electric's customer support office and the Ministry of Defence.
