The Nottingham Tram Consortium (NTC) has ordered six Renaults, which will be used for transporting staff and general maintenance. Clive Pennington, engineering manager at NTC, said: 'As tramways are environmentally friendly, it was important that all our fleet vehicles were diesel and Renault had the exact range to suit all our requirements.'
The vans will be used to transport tools and equipment. The group has also bought two Renault Scenics.
