LEASEPLAN customers can now track the progress of vehicles throughout the servicing process following a deal with All Fleet Services.

The contract was secured following a successful three-month pilot scheme with the new company last autumn and also ensures LeasePlan saves money through greater used of its preferred dealer network.

All Fleet Services was set up by former FTM Tyrefit staff David Scobie and Geoff Leake, and is focused on call centre solutions as its core business. Terry Cripps, head of operations support at LeasePlan, said: 'We are in no doubt we have chosen the right partner to manage the process.

'All Fleet's tracking facilities provide us with a distinct advantage in ensuring our customers remain fully appraised of service progress from the point their vehicle is collected through to the time it is returned to them.'

All Fleet Services has teamed up with software specialist Cam-Systems to write and develop bespoke software to meet the specific requirements of customers, and uses epyx 1Link service platform to make the bookings for LeasePlan.

Leake, All Fleet Services sales director, said: 'The cost savings to the fleet are significantly greater than the cost of providing good service. We are optimistic that LeasePlan is the first of many to take advantage of our innovative service booking programme.'
