SUBARU has launched its most powerful Impreza to date, with a 500-unit product-ion run already sold out.

The special-edition Impreza WRX STi WR1 (pictured) celebrates Petter Solberg winning last year's World Rally Championship and boasts a power boost of 55bhp. Priced at £29,995 on-the-road, the 320bhp WR1 accelerates from 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds, compared with the standard car's 5.1 seconds, with maximum torque of 310lb-ft at 4,000rpm.

The car features unique metallic paint, special 18-inch alloy wheels, stainless steel mesh grille and interior changes that set it apart from the standard STi.
