BRITAIN'S best selling diesel car, the Ford Mondeo, has had its line up boosted with a Duratorq TDCi 2.0-litre, 114bhp common rail diesel engine, which is Euro IV compliant.

The new engine is available in all bodystyles, with prices starting from £16,460.
The manufacturer said that like the 129bhp Euro IV unit, the new 114bhp TDCi features second-generation, high-pressure common rail injection technology that offers improved fuel economy, higher torque and enhanced driving quality and refinement It also promises improved performance as it now equipped with a turbocharger with electrically actuated variable geometry.
'We are very proud of our development' commented Keith Kershaw, large car brand manager. 'This addition widens the choice and provides a clear benefit for company car drivers'.
