Harrow boosts fleet with 30 new dualfuel Combos

VAUXHALL has supplied Dualfuel LPG-powered Combo vans to be used by London Borough of Harrow's meals-on-wheels team.They are part of a consignment of 30 that have been ordered for the fleet of about 150 vehicles by their full service contract hire supplier, Fraikin. A dozen of the 1.6i LPG/petrol-powered Combos are for the borough's meals-on-wheels service. The remainder will be used for a variety of purposes across the borough, including highways maintenance, street cleaning and environmental health.The Combos, which all benefit from a 100% discount from the £5-per day central London congestion charge, have been configured to meet the specific needs of the council.
