Tracking system keeps Flowrite fleet flowing

A NATIONAL refrigeration company has equipped its 96-vehicle fleet with a new tracking system in a bid to improve productivity and customer service.

Flowrite has installed Masternaut's navigation and dispatch system which enables the group to track drivers and send live transmission of service jobs to the nearest available engineer.

Andy Moore, managing director at Flowrite Services, said: 'With satellite tracking alone, we have already seen a 20% improvement in productivity and a 20% reduction in fuel costs. With Masternaut's latest development we can add automated job despatch and dynamic scheduling based on the nearest available resource. This completes the automation loop, optimising the whole operation to improve productivity and customer service.'
