ONTIME Automotive delivers more than 700,000 vehicles a year with its fleet of 350 transporters.

It recently transported the last ever Aston Martin DB7 in a special two-car covered vehicle.

Ontime has transported Aston Martins since the early 80s, but following the introduction of the new DB9, the final DB7 was shipped out.

The DB9 will be produced at Aston Martin's new headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire and will be transported by Ontime's fleet.

Ian Minards, general manager sales operations at Aston Martin, said: 'From production line to dealer, Ontime's operations are vital to our global supply chain. We have worked successfully together for nearly a decade.'

Ontime shuttles Aston Martins from the production plant to its vehicle preparation and storage facility which is also based in Warwickshire. Vehicles are kept in a temperature-controlled and humidity-regulated environment with batteries constantly charged.

The facility can store up to 100 vehicles and after thorough inspection the Aston Martins are delivered to dealers.
