CAP's New Vehicle Data (NVD) service is to provide daily updates following an increase in demand.

The daily updates mean fleets will be able to access more up-to-date and accurate information.

During the first three months of 2004, CAP added details of 1,085 new models on to the NVD database, which provides pricing, options and technical information for almost 6,000 new cars and light commercial vehicles. Helen Butterworth, CAP NVD manager, said: 'Our customers' need for immediate and accurate information can only be met by providing it on a daily updated basis.

'Rigorous quality control ensures that no compromise is made between satisfying that demand and delivering all new and updated information in a reliable and close to real-time product on every working day.'
