    SEAT Altea

The divide between lower-medium hatchacks and mini-MPVs is becoming increasingly blurred.

For many the Peugeot 307 was the first hatchback that looked like a mini-MPV and now, the Altea is the first mini-MPV to look like a hatchback. It has five seats which fold forward, but don't go flat, so isn't as practical as some. But it is pretty and buyers who want looks and a bit more space are the target market. 2.0 TDi is the pick. Audi A6

JUNE will see the stunning new Audi A6 go on sale and BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Lexus will have a fight on their hands.

The A6 is bigger and better than the outgoing model and prettier, with a classier interior than the competition.

Whether drivers will move from trusted Mercs and Beemers remains to be seen, but if any car can change buying patterns, the A6 can. Big 3.0-litre diesel is the best fleet choice.
