Sat-nav: just what's it worth secondhand?

Satellite navigation continues to grow in popularity and many company car drivers almost take it for granted.

The removal of the stress related to navigating to an unfamiliar destination is invaluable and many are completely sold on it after just a few days' experience.

But how does it affect used car values? Most people today know where they're going.

While sat-nav is invaluable for those who are venturing into the unknown, many drivers will rarely find it useful, so will be reluctant to stick their hands in their pockets, especially when they have that five-year-old £1.99 AA atlas of Great Britain lying unused on the back seat.
