The latest appointments in the fleet industry.

  • NATIONAL fast fit retailer STS Tyres and Exhausts has promoted Mike Marment to retail operations manager. Marment joined STS in 1986 as branch manager in Norwich and will be based at Letchworth in his new role. He will be responsible for maintaining and exceeding STS's 52 centre sales targets, improving service and moving the business forward.

  • HELPHIRE Group has appointed Ian Meachin as regional sales manager for the north. Meachin joins from Centrus, where he was national sales manager. He brings several years experience including experience of senior sales management in various sectors. In his new role, Meachin will assist newly-appointed national sales manager Maurice Power.

  • JAYNE Davison has been promoted to customer services manager at Delta Rescue. She will be responsible for managing clients, new business support and implementing new accounts in her new role. Davison has been an account executive with Delta for the past 18 months and joined FMG Group three years ago in a telesales role.

  • VOLKSWAGEN Fleet Services has announced several new appointments. Christopher Blue joins as national sales manager, taking over from Andrew Waite. Blue joins from Franchise Management, where he was franchise manager for Volkswagen passenger cars. Bruce Bello has been appointed as business development manager. He has 19 years experience in the fleet industry and for the past 20 months has worked as regional fleet manager for the south of England. Additional appointments include Neil Prigent as regional fleet manager for the south, Carlos Lopez-Rubio as international key account manager and Faith Hukin as senior account executive.

  • STEPHEN de Launay has been promoted to implementations manager at Chevin Fleet Solutions. He has worked at Chevin for 11 years and will oversee the Roadbase system and some of the smaller FleetWave installations Chevin provides. Scott Jenkins has been promoted to sales and marketing director and Steve Llewellyn has joined as senior project manager. Llewellyn has more than 18 years experience gained in the IT industry. Further appointments include Gavin Clark as regional sales manager, Nancy McSweeny as technical support consultant, Andrew Fletcher as part of the support team developing Roadbase software and Chris Bradley as software engineer.

  • LTI Vehicles, a manufacturer of black cabs, has appointed Maria Holmes as marketing manager. She joins from Unipart Automotive, where she was marking communications supervisor and prior to that worked at insurance group AXA for 11 years. In her new role Holmes will work closely with the sales department to develop a range of marketing activities.
