The site is currently operating on a trade-to-trade basis but the company behind it says it plans to roll it out to fleets.
Roger Woodwood, managing director of Cars Direct, which has launched the site, said: 'Traders have to buy credit to put vehicles on the site. It costs £1 per vehicle for up to a week and each trader logs the vehicle details on to the site. At the moment it is restricted to trade but we will be offering it to fleets.
'Benefits for vendors include the ability to manage the uploading of vehicle data with complete control of the whole auction process, from monitoring the sale to finalising a transaction with the successful bidder.'
