Opening brings charity

BCA has marked the official opening of its fourth auction centre in Germany by presenting a cheque for thousands of euros to a children's charity.

Proceeds from the sale of the first car sold at the launch event went to a charity based near the centre in Frankfurt.

The car, a 1997 Ford Fiesta 1.3 donated by BCA, sold for €5,610 (£3,750).

The opening sale itself featured nearly 200 cars direct from DaimlerChrysler dealerships.
