A NEWCASTLE-based window installer has overhauled the way in which it funds its small fleet of company cars.

Warmseal Windows has changed from outright purchase of its vehicles to a contract hire deal with Toyota Financial Services.

Paul Jennison, operations director at Warmseal, said: 'We chose Toyota because it was so competitive costwise.

'For the money we felt we would be getting a better vehicle with a better specification.

'On the service side we would normally expect to keep vehicles for three years. With Toyotas we felt we may be able to extend it to four.'

The group has ordered eight 1.8-litre Avensis T3-X petrol hatchbacks which are expected to cover up to 25,000-miles a year.
