THE Sunday Times Motor Show has failed to meet predicted visitor numbers, attracting only 461,000 visitors to the show.

The organisers announced in January that they were hoping to boost attendances to 600,000, plugging £1.2 million into a marketing drive and launching a national television campaign.

However, according to a MORI survey of visitors at the show 97% enjoyed it, with 88% saying that the show exceeded their expectations.
