KWIK-FIT has announced changes to its management structure following parent company CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of the AA.

The firm has appointed current Kwik-Fit Fleet sales director Mike Wise on an interim basis to co-ordinate Kwik-Fit's fast-fit activities. Last week, CVC and fellow private equity group Permira Advisers acquired the AA from Centrica in a £1.75 billion deal.

Wise's appointment follows Kwik-Fit chief executive Tim Parker's departure from the company to take up a similar role at the AA.

As a result of Wise's temporary move, Nigel Davies, Kwik-Fit Fleet's director of corporate accounts, will take interim responsibility for fleet business along with Chris Higgins, Kwik-Fit Fleet's finance director.

Other senior management changes at Kwik-Fit include finance director Ken McGill taking over responsibility for the company's European businesses and Kwik-Fit Financial Services. Its director Paul Boulton, who will report to Wise, will continue to head up retail operations.
