Although it had covered plenty of (unwarranted) miles, this metallic blue Mercedes E200 made well above guide price. The car was sold on behalf of a finance company with no V5 or service history but had an MoT until November 04.

The car had a high specification for a Classic model, including a rare combination of electric sunroof, air conditioning, alloy wheels and automatic gearbox. Although fitted with a private plate, it was not a popular combination of letters and numbers so it is unlikely this added much to the value. Interior and exterior condition was average.

Although the car had some shortcomings, the high specification and relatively affordable price range for a twin headlamp model Mercedes combined to make this a desirable car.
