DORSET Police transport department has achieved the quality management standard, ISO 9001:2000, awarded by the British Standards Institute.

Force assistant chief officer John Jones said: 'Registration is a way of providing an internationally recognised benchmark to reflect the very high standards already in place within our transport department.'
