Online ordering popular with Randstad staff

EMPLOYEES at a UK recruitment agency can now order all company cars electronically after the group introduced a new fleet management system.

Randstad, which operates a 155-strong fleet, introduced the online Fleet Desk system across the whole fleet following its popularity with the first batch of drivers using the system.

Patrick Green, director of business services at Randstad, said: ‘The online Fleet Desk system has been very popular as it is completely flexible. It allows drivers to add extra items of specification and then see what their tax liabilities will be.

‘It has proved so popular that all of our cars today are ordered online. The other key benefit is that it has freed up more time, meaning facilities staff are now able to fully concentrate on their core activities.’

Tuskerdirect, which supplied the system, claims fleets can save costs by using an online system.
