Macho HiLux launched

Based on the top-of-the-range VX model, it includes a 102bhp 2.5-litre diesel engine that can be ‘chipped’ to boost output to 128bhp, leather interior, six-CD autochanger, dark-tinted windows and tubular chrome rear styling bumper. Price is £17,995 ex-VAT.

The vehicle made its debut at the recent Motor Show at the NEC and promised ‘a robust character with plenty of street style and premium features’.

The vehicle also boasts standard ABS brakes, alarm, electric windows, air conditioning and sports seats.
