An SMMT report in May 2004 said CV sales were at their highest monthly level for 15 years with a rise of eight per cent for the year-to-date.

Gary Warren, managing director of the car supermarket chain, said: 'We have noticed a huge demand and have increased commercial vehicle stock levels giving even greater priority to this sector. The market is positive and we’ve recognised this by revamping our CV forecourt and launching some major discounts on key models.'

The firm says it now has 500 CVs across it three sites and can arrange full wood-lining, sign-writing, and vehicle preparation to suit business needs.
