AN INCIDENT management company is taking advantage of an increase in the number of two-wheeler fleets by launching a fleet motorcycle repair network.

Elite Incident Manage-ment launched the network following demand from the fleet industry and is now operating 45 motorcycle repairers across the UK.

Clive Rolfe, head of network operations at Elite Incident Management, said; 'We have had discussions with a number of motorcycle manufacturers and there is a lot of interest from corporates in offering bikes to employees as an alternative to the company car.

'However, for the market to take off, there must be an infrastructure in place similar to that enjoyed by company car fleets.'

Elite is hoping to target motorcycle fleets such as paramedics, local authorities, pizza delivery firms and couriers. Rolfe said: 'Busi-nesses offering motorbikes to their employees will look for a similar infrastructure and that is why we are opening up our motorcycle repair network to the corporate sector.'
