Fuel relief

THE decision to defer September’s petrol duty increase has been welcomed. The Government said it would look again at the planned increase in November.

Ray Holloway, petrol retailers director for the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI), said: ‘It is good news for petrol retailers and motorists, and will relieve the anxiety created by rising oil prices in the last few months.’
